Today the most important news is the strong earthquake in the Kamchatka region, in Russia, close to Alaska. Initially, several Tsunami alerts have been issued, and even though the crisis is not finished yet, it seems that it will not be a huge Tsunami. However, if you are close to the coastal Pacific Ocean, it’s better to follow the local authorities instructions.

This earthquake has been one of the most intense that I remember. Reports say that it has reached 8.8 intensity. Considering this scale is logarithmic an increase of one-tenth is a lot of energy. However, here in Korea, the situation is safe, and no issues have happened as far as I know. Anyway, try to be cautious and stay safe.

It’s very powerful earthquake but luckily no damage to Korea. 😅
