Next week the South Korean presidential elections will be held. Nowadays, the political issue is a hot topic in the country, and these elections will be very intense after the president’s impeachment. In Korea, even though the elections will be held next week, you can vote in advance.
In one station centre located in Gangnam, a woman who was working there has been accused of voting on her husband’s behalf, and now has been arrested for that and facing legal problems.
Even though I could understand the reason, for me, acting like this makes no sense. For me, it is much easier to try to convince the husband than to manipulate his vote. Also, this could have been discovered anyway if the husband went to vote, as he will appear as he already voted there.
