I just finished watching the Mexican Grand Prix and I think that was an exciting race, probably the most interesting Mexican Grand Prix in many years. Norris did an amazing race and beat everyone by more than 30 seconds, and got the championship lead by only 1 point.

However, there is another possible championship contender, Max Verstappen. Yesterday, did a great race, finishing third and very close to second position, and only an incomprehensible virtual safety car stopped him from doing a last assault on Leclerc’s second position. However, even though he cannot fight for victory, he showed a very good performance.
For me, the most disappointing was Piastry, even though he could minimise the damage, it seems that the performance is not good enough to win this championship. However, there is still time to react; still 4 races to go.
The most disappointing situation was for Sainz and Alonso. First one, Sainz, damaged the pit speed limiter, causing a first-time penalty of 5 seconds. The second penalty arrived for the same reason, but this time it was his mistake as he disconnected the speed limiter. As this was the second time that he had committed the same infringement, he got a more severe penalty, a drive-through. Alonso, on the other hand, had a difficult weekend fighting with his car, but in the end, he had to retire because of a problem with his car, apparently related to the brake system.
On the positive side, we have Ollie Bearman and his Haas, who achieved a 4th position, a great result for him and his team, as this car is not good enough to get this kind of result consistently. Will see the future of this driver, as it seems that we will talk a lot about him in the future.
I would give this race a grade of 8 out of 10, it was interesting, and I couldn’t stop watching until the end, but the last virtual safety car was a real disappointment.
