These days appear in news the case of a Korean girl who was kidnapped 44 years ago, at the age of 6 while she was playing on the street in Seoul. Apparently, while she was playing in the street alone, a woman came to her and convinced her to take a train together.

Apparently, after that, the child was left alone at the final stop and found by police officers. The police brought her to an orphanage and sometime later she was adopted in the USA, and grown up in Virginia. She became a Nurse.
However, her mother kept looking for her during this time. After searching for her as much as she could, including on TV, and even finding the wrong woman, who in the end was not her real daughter. Finally, a group called 325 Kamra found a match, and they met each other in 2019.
After reviewing this case, the investigators found out that her adoption documents were faked and appeared that her parents were unknown.
In Korea, after the Korean War and during the dictatorship period, many private adoption agencies sent children to the West countries and did business with them. Nowadays this mother wants to sue the Korean government as it was also their responsibility due to the lack of regulations and control.
Probably, there are many cases like this, as back then it was not easy to control all private adoption agencies. Both lives have been ruined because of this so in my opinion the victims should be compensated and spend all their lives together.

Oohh what a sad story..
Back then, many cases like this.
They got adopted to foreign countries without consent. When they grow up, they come to Korea to find their biological parents.
It’s also sad history. I think nowadays not that many adoption cases like this.
