Seoul fireworks festival gathers 1 million people

Yesterday, October 27, 2025, the annual international fireworks festival took place, drawing around 1 million spectators to enjoy one of the most beautiful festivals in Seoul. The combination of fireworks and the Seoulite night city skyline makes beautiful shots.

This festival has become much more trendy in recent years; therefore, this year broke the attendance record, achieving 1 million visitors in total. This year, as usual, 3 countries participated in the festival: Italy, Canada and the festival host, South Korea. It was really beautiful to see, and I recommend attending there if you are around here on these dates.

However, the problem with this kind of event is that they are overcrowded, and you need a lot of patience due to that. Need to go with the time, have a lot of patience, and expect to ride a very crowded subway when you come back. Keep in mind that this could be tiring, but the show is worth seeing at least once.

Due to this overcrowding, and to prevent accidents, the Line 5 subway didn’t stop at Yeouinaru Station for about 3 hours, which can help you to get an idea of how many people are gathered there. Anyway, if you don’t wanna suffer these inconveniences, it is possible to watch in any of the multiple YouTube stream videos. It is not the same, but you can get the idea and it is more convenient.
